In 2009, Scott and Helen launched Haberdasher Corporate Apparel with the belief that the secret to a successful business was to treat staff and customers like family, and this core principle has been the driving force behind its tremendous growth ever since. Scott brought decades of uniform experience to the new venture, but Helen was the ace in the hole. Truth be told, she runs this business!
From their humble beginnings of fulfilling orders from their home—boxes and shelving everywhere, pallets on the front porch and the added challenge of keeping the dog’s hair out of the orders—to the move in 2012 to our 4,000-square-foot office, warehouse and production space, we’ve remained a family business. In fact, all of the Ilnicky kids have worked for Haberdasher. We’ve weathered the great recession and the pandemic and come out the other side even stronger. We can’t wait to see what the future brings for Haberdasher.
